Visibility

Exhibitions and curatorial projects

They are spaces to showcase the work of creation, circulation, and visibility that expose the narratives built in dialogue with artists, with the community, or as part of learning processes.

The exhibitions of SolipsisArt are the result of collective processes of research, creation, training, experimentation, and reflection. Through individual, collective, community, and diverse curatorial projects, we articulate works that showcase social issues, memory, identity, rights, and territory, generating democratic spaces for encounters among diverse audiences.

More than just showcasing photographic work, our exhibitions seek to activate conversation, critical thinking, generate questions, and expand the circulation of new visual narratives at the local community, national, and international levels; they are spaces to dialogue beyond words and appreciate the vision of others.

Virtual dialogue spaces

We promote virtual spaces for reflection and encounter that connect perspectives, territories, and experiences around contemporary photography and allow for dialogue and critique of the pieces shown.

Through conversations, meetings, and open sessions, we generate dialogues among artists, researchers, collectives, students, experts, and professionals from different contexts in Latin America and Spain. These spaces aim to activate critical reflections on image, memory, culture, and territories, fostering learning and the building of networks.

These are virtual programs planned to expand the reach of our processes, strengthening a diverse community that thinks about photography, the arts, and other social themes beyond individual practice, but aims to build knowledge through successful cases and ideas for improvement.

Our spaces have included: Photo Journeys, Photo Sensitive, and Images and Heartbeats.
